Rima Saad, PhD, brings more than 20 years of experience to her work helping individuals and groups overcome a variety of emotional difficulties and build fuller lives. Her flexible approach combines a deep understanding of why people suffer with a rich knowledge base of how they find their strengths and move beyond suffering. She draws from a variety of evidence-based therapy approaches to help people address focused short-term challenges as well as make fundamental long term change in their way of living, working and relating.

Dr. Saad holds an academic appointment at Harvard Medical School and McLean Hospital. She is a senior consultant at the Pavilion, a comprehensive evaluation center at McLean. Additionally, she supervises and instructs psychology interns, post doctoral fellows and psychiatry residents. She has been on the Harvard faculty since she completed her training with a pre-doctoral internship and a post-doctoral fellowship at McLean Hospital and Harvard Medical School.
